This antenna is later removed and replaced by a 5 el yagi with 12m boom placed in the second tower.
The 4 element 17 m yagi is made of a CueDee 4 el 20m Yagi. The elements are of course shortened but the boom is extended to 9 m (29.5 ft). As the 17 m band is very narrow the antenna can be optimized for Gain and F/B. Mike SJ2W has made the final design.
|Boom legth (diam 50/60 mm/ 2/2.5″)||9 m (29.5 ft)|
|Longest Element||7.49 m (24.5 ft)|
|Forward Gain (free space)||7.3 dBd|
